I have been a professional designer for almost 20 years. I love working with print, web, sound design, 3D and more.

3d Design

I am well versed in Maxon's Cinema 4D. I am currently learning Unreal Engine 5. The images below were created for a company called Rex Specs who wanted to have product images that rival the quality of Oakley and Smith.

Logo Design

I am quite familiar with Illustrator. I am comfortable creating vector-based content from simple UI/UX assets to highly detailed illustrations. I have also used Illustrator to generate splines as a starting point for modeling 3D objects.

Layout Design

Layout design is a huge passion of mine. Whether it is print in a magazine, a website or an app, I love creating visual pieces that are pleasing to the eye and fun to interact with.

Custom Fonts

Most of my font editing has been in the context of logo creation. I am very experienced in converting fonts into vector form and manipulating the text to best suit what I am trying to create visually. I have created full font families on my own but have yet to go through the process of digitizing an entire alphabet.

SPACES

I utilize my skills in 3D to help craft environments and spaces.

I.S.S Interview

I was tasked with designing the set for our team to perform a live interview with Commander Shane Kimbro aboard the International Space Station through NASA. I wanted to create something that felt other worldly while still feeling down to earth.

Live Recording

This was a set that I designed for a live album recording. We wanted to make use of a limited supply of LED display panels for a stage element. Rather than boxing them up, we spread them across three 90 degree angels that we hung in various postions in the back stage.

Virtual Production

Unreal Engine 5 has created an entirely new realm of video production. Being able to put a subject into a set with the use of LED screens and render the envrionments in real time is changing the game for video production and film. Below is an example of a virtual production space I created for recording videos in.

Arch Viz

I love architectural visualiztion. I am obsessed with textures and lighting and the act of building worlds in 3D, then seeing them come to life is so much fun.

ANIMATION

Great design is easy to appreciate. Seeing it move, makes it all the more fun.

Product Features

Here is an example of a product feature animation that I created for a protective eyewear project.

Bapes Trailer

I started animating a lore trailer for the Bapes NFT project to help build momentum and excitement. The project collapsed before I could finish.

Logo Stingers

I have generated lots of different logo treatments and stingers over my years of design and animation.

INVENTION

Driven by neccessity.

Solar 2.0

I invented the next generation of solar panel technology which increases efficiency and solves many problems with the current systems available. The design is currently under patent submission.

HOBBIES

This is what I would consider design outside of the 'box'. When I'm not on the computer, I like to design with my hands.

Portraits

I love photography. I currently own a Canon R5 and 80D with a 10-18mm f4.5, 50mm f1.4, and 70-200mm f2.8 lenses. My strength is definitely candid portraits of people just living life. I feel like I have a good eye for framing and for capturing moments.

Landscape

I also love architectural photography and have recently taken up landscape photography.

Amp Building

I have played almost every guitar amplifier made and felt like I couldn’t find the sound that I wanted. So, I decided to make my own. I have designed, built and hand-wired my own custom line of vacuum-tube driven guitar amplifiers called Spark Guitar Amplifiers.

Textile Work

I have a great appreciation for high quality textiles. For a long time, I ran a side business making custom wallets out of 100% German Merino Wool Felt and Premium Italian Milleni Leather.

Sketching

I love the artistic style of sketch design. I have a collection with sketches of various products and ideas I enjoy and dream about.
